Hilton Head Bound by Rick Herter

Making its initial flight in April 1967, the Boeing 737 is the perennial leader of commercial airliners. With almost 12,000 737’s manufactured and several more thousand on order, perhaps no other commercial jetliner has flown more hours or passengers than the Boeing 737.

In Rick's painting, a 737 is approaching Hilton Head, South Carolina above the beach. No doubt, many passengers are taking in the sight and anxious to start a vacation in the beautiful community they’re about to touchdown in.
