In the artist's opinion, one of the most striking aircraft flying today is the Airbus A350. In this painting, the first ever A350 in Delta Airlines operations begins its departure flight heading back to its home airport in Detroit, Michigan.

Delta was the first North American airline to take delivery of the A350 on July 13, 2017. The jet became Delta’s new flagship aircraft, replacing the Boeing 747 and primarily flying Trans-Pacific routes.
