This North American P-51 D Mustang has quite a history. Known as “Lil’ Margaret,” it was the plane assigned to Clyde B. East, a 9th Air Force pilot and Mustang Ace. It’s the photo reconnaissance version of the Mustang, long admired as one of the most beautiful aircraft around. Restoring it was a passion for Henry “Butch” Schroeder who did it all by the book. The result was the 1993 WWII Grand Champion at Oshkosh. Now Sam makes this “Shining Stallion” come alive. You have to see it in person to appreciate the intricate reflections and precision of every element.
